This is best achieved by selecting pigs that are born and bred outdoors. They are then kept in the best possible conditions both physically and psychologically for the whole of their life.

Whats On Offer

Here at www.perkypigs.net we are currently offering several varieties of breed.

They are sold in half pig quantities, butchered as you require.

You are most welcome to visit your pig at anytime, preferably by arrangement. You can even arrange to come and feed your pig.

We can keep in touch with your pigs progress as it grows by sending you regular photos and update via email.

Nearer the date of the delivery of your rare breed pork, www.perkypigs.net will telephone you to arrange an convenient in our own refrigerated van.

A deposit is required when you place an order.

Piglets Galore !!!

The last few days have been very eventful here at perkypigs.net

We have a sow that we knew was expecting piglets and we woke each morning hoping to see the little beauties inside her pig ark. Anyway Fiona was busy putting some extra straw in another ark when she spotted what she thought was a rat ! Fiona isn't keen on rats but taking a closer look she saw it was a PIGLET ! The sow, who's ark she was in hadn't shown any sign of being 'with pig' so it was a fantastic suprise. We counted three piglets but only two had made it through the night, sadly.

Anyway the 'in pig' sow - or Dolly to us, waited until Sunday evening before giving birth to her litter. We woke to find six healthy piglets. Mum is obviously keeping a close eye on them so we haven't got too close.

We'll get some photos this weekend and post them on the site.
